These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of lumena-care.shop (the "Site") and your purchase of digital guides from Lumena Care ("Lumena Care", "we", "us" or "our"). By using the Site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms.
Eligibility and accounts
You must be able to enter into a binding contract in your jurisdiction to use the Site or make a purchase. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, including your email address, and for keeping your account credentials confidential.
Products and availability
We make reasonable efforts to display descriptions, images and prices accurately. Guides, prices, promotions and availability may change without notice. We may correct errors, update a guide's content, or discontinue a guide where permitted by law.
Orders and payment
Your order is an offer to purchase. We may accept or decline an order, including because of pricing or description errors, suspected fraud, or an invalid email address. All prices are shown in U.S. dollars. You authorize us and our payment providers to charge the payment method you select for accepted orders, including applicable taxes. We do not charge any fee for the use of a particular payment method. Your statement will show a charge that identifies Lumena Care.
Digital products and delivery
Lumena Care sells digital products only. After your payment is approved, your download link is sent to the email address provided at checkout and shown on the order confirmation page. Nothing is shipped to you physically. Delivery is governed by our Delivery Policy.
License to use our guides
When you purchase a guide, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use it for your own personal, non-commercial use. You may not resell, redistribute, share publicly, sublicense, reproduce for others, upload to file-sharing services, or create derivative works from our guides without our prior written permission.
Educational content only
Lumena Care publishes educational beauty and self-care guides. Our guides are provided for general informational and educational purposes only. They are not medical, dermatological, or professional health advice, they do not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition, and they are not a substitute for consultation with a qualified healthcare professional or a licensed dermatologist.
Skin, hair, and body respond differently from person to person. Results vary and are not guaranteed. Before using any product or routine described in our guides, read the manufacturer's instructions, patch test new products, and stop use if irritation occurs. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, take medication, or have a skin or health condition, speak with a qualified professional first. In an emergency, contact your local emergency service.
Where a guide mentions a brand or product, the mention is editorial. We do not manufacture, sell, or endorse third-party products, and we are not affiliated with the brands discussed unless stated.
Refunds
Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy, which allows a refund request within 7 days of purchase. That policy forms part of these Terms. If you have a problem with an order, contact us at contact@lumena-care.shop so we can try to resolve it quickly.
Privacy
Our collection and use of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.
Acceptable use
You may not use the Site for unlawful, fraudulent, abusive or harmful purposes; interfere with Site security or operation; introduce malicious code; scrape or access the Site through unauthorized automated means; infringe intellectual property or privacy rights; or misrepresent your identity.
Third-party services
The Site is hosted on Shopify and may use or link to third-party services. We are not responsible for third-party websites, content or services, and your use of them may be governed by separate terms and privacy policies.
Disclaimer and limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Site and the guides are provided "as is" and "as available". We do not exclude warranties, remedies or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lumena Care will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, nor for any outcome arising from the way you apply the information in our guides.
Indemnification
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold Lumena Care harmless from claims, losses and expenses arising from your unlawful use of the Site or material violation of these Terms.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida and applicable federal law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute that is not subject to a mandatory alternative forum under applicable law will be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction serving Orange County, Florida. This section does not deprive you of mandatory consumer protections that apply in your place of residence.
Changes and severability
We may update these Terms by posting a revised version on the Site. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect.
